Terms of Service
Last updated November 3, 2026
These terms cover your use of Amigo, the app at amigohq.app (also reachable at amigo.hatchable.site) and the booking pages, websites, quote and invoice pages it creates for your business. By creating an account or using Amigo you agree to them. If you use Amigo for a company, you agree on its behalf.
1. What Amigo does
Amigo helps you run a small business: a jobs board, customer records, quotes, invoices, a booking page, a simple business website, reminders and reports. It also lets the AI assistant you choose to connect (Muse from Meta, ChatGPT from OpenAI or Grok from xAI) carry out tasks you set up or approve, using the accounts you have connected to that assistant (for example your email, calendar, QuickBooks or social pages). Amigo does not log in to those accounts itself.
2. Your account
- Keep your sign-in email secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
- Give accurate business details. Customers see your business name and contact details on your public pages.
3. Subscription, trial and cancelling
- Amigo is a paid monthly subscription. New subscriptions may start with a free trial; the price and trial length are shown before you buy.
- Payments are processed by our reseller, Lemon Squeezy, which is the merchant of record and handles billing, receipts, tax and refunds under its own terms.
- You can pause or cancel any time from Settings → Billing. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. We don’t give partial refunds for unused time unless the law requires it.
- If a payment fails, you pause, or a subscription ends, Amigo pauses your automations and limits your account to read-only until it’s active again. Your booking page and website go offline while it’s inactive. Quotes and invoices you already sent stay viewable and payable for your customers, so you can still be paid what you’re owed.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email; changes apply from your next billing period.
4. Your data and your customers’ data
You own the information you put into Amigo, including your customers’ details, jobs, quotes, invoices, photos and website content. You give us permission to store and process it only to run Amigo for you. Our Privacy Policy explains how. When you collect your customers’ details, you are responsible for having the right to do so and for telling them how you use them.
5. Messages, posts and your AI assistant
- When Amigo hands a task to your AI assistant (for example sending a quote, a reminder, an invoice, a booking confirmation or a social post), the assistant acts through your own accounts and on your behalf. You are responsible for what is sent in your name.
- If you turn on automatic booking confirmations, your assistant confirms new online bookings with the customer without asking you each time. You can turn this off in Booking.
- Many automations ask for your OK first. Read drafts before you approve them.
- Only message people who have given you their contact details for your business and who would expect to hear from you. Follow the laws that apply to you, including anti-spam and telemarketing rules (such as CAN-SPAM and the TCPA in the US), and stop messaging anyone who asks you to.
- AI can make mistakes. Check important details such as prices, dates and amounts.
6. Your website and photos
- You are responsible for what your website says, including prices, reviews and claims such as being licensed or insured. Only add reviews customers actually gave you.
- Only publish photos you have the right to use. Get your customer’s OK before showing photos of their home or property, and avoid photos that show house numbers, licence plates or people’s faces.
7. Getting paid
Amigo shows your customers the payment options you set up (for example your own Stripe, Square, PayPal, Venmo or Zelle details). Payments go directly from your customer to you through those services; Amigo never holds your money and isn’t responsible for those services or for disputes between you and your customers.
8. Acceptable use
Don’t use Amigo to break the law, send spam, harass anyone, upload content you don’t have rights to, collect data from people without permission, try to access other accounts, or interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Amigo running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Amigo relies on outside services (including Muse, ChatGPT, Grok and the apps you connect to them), which can change or stop working. We may improve, change or remove features; if we discontinue Amigo we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
10. Disclaimers and liability
Amigo is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to Amigo is limited to the amount you paid for Amigo in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
11. Ending your account
You can delete your account any time in Settings → Account; this cancels your subscription and removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may end or suspend access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Amigo after that means you accept the new terms.
